Cinnamon Oranges

This simple dessert works any time of the year, but its flavors will be the best and brightest in the winter when oranges are at their peak.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 navel oranges
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

PREPARATION

  1. With a sharp knife, remove rind and white pith from oranges. Cut each into 5 or 6 slices and arrange on 4 plates. Whisk together orange juice and lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon. Spoon over the orange slices.

  • 1/4 cup silken tofu

  1. Combine berries, banana, apple juice and tofu in a blender; blend until smooth.

4th Activity Healthy Challenge Scavenger Hunt

Go on a scavenger hunt in your own house. You can do this with a friend, a sibling, or a parent and hunt for the items. Listed below is a sample of a scavenger hunt. You can leave the list up on your computer screen as you search for each item. As you complete each task, come back to the computer to read the next item on your list.  You can make it a race and see who can finish the list fastest by using a stopwatch or a clock to time yourselves. You can modify this list to look for things in your yard.  No matter what you do, you will be getting some exercise while having fun.
1. Touch 2 tissue boxes
2. Get in and out of bed (with covers) 5 times
3. Touch your mailbox
4. Grab a spoon from the kitchen and bring it back to the computer
5. Point to a healthy snack in the refrigerator, like fruit or vegetables

3rd Activity Build Up Jumping Jacks

Activity
Hello those in the computer universe. I am here to tell you about a fun, safe, and easy activity. That you can do with your family. It`s called build up jumping jacks. First you start with jumping up and down. after, you have done that five times you add in the arms. Next you ad in the legs. Then after that you minus the legs. Next the arms. At the end you will jumping up and down again. When you have done all that you have done one jumping jack. A note to parents with toddlers. This is a great and safe way to burn off their energy. By the end they will be begging for a nap.
